Chanel has appointed Simona Cattaneo, as the new president of fragrance and beauty. She will assume her position in January 2025, succeeding Anne Kirby who is set to retire at the end of this year.
Cattaneo most recently served as General Manager at Italian luxury fashion house, Tod’s Group.
Before that, Cattaneo served five years as President of Luxury Brands and Chief Marketing Officer at Coty.
She has also served at Burberry, Dior, and L’Oréal.
In a statement, Chanel commented, “As a seasoned global business leader, Simona brings over 30 years of experience in the luxury beauty industry. She has managed prestige brands, built new businesses across product categories, and led large transformations within complex global organizations based around the world.”
