RevitaLash Cosmetics is committed to helping in the fight against breast cancer—and has donated over $9 million, to date.
Now during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the company says it is looking back at its investments that have helped fund cancer research and patient care initiatives, since 2008.
Dariel Sidney, Vice President of Global Philanthropy and Gayle Brinkenhoff's eldest daughter, comments, "We're incredibly proud to have reached the milestone of over $9 million committed to the fight against breast cancer. We owe everything to our customers, whose purchases enable us to continue funding life-changing initiatives. Together, we are helping to make a difference in the lives of those facing a difficult diagnosis, and helping bring the world closer to finding a cure."
The brand has partnered with City of Hope, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Future Dreams UK, and others, to fund nursing education and grants that support cutting-edge research.
RevitaLash Cosmetics has phased out its global "pink packaging" initiative—all except for the pink ribbon symbol, co-created by Evelyn H. Lauder when she started The Breast Cancer Campaign in 1992.
This resulted in a 30% savings on production costs, which "was reinvested into its global giving budget," the brand states.
The iconic pink ribbon is on every product, as a reminder of the brand's ongoing commitment.
