Parfums de Marly has partnered with the Louvre Museum to renovate and restore the scenography and visitor experience. This project will focus primarily on the Decorative Arts department or the Cressent rooms.
This partnership speaks to Parfums de Marly’s branding as it is inspired by French art during the reign of Louis XV.
The Decorative Arts department houses roughly 22,000 pieces, including furniture, objects, tapestries, and paintings from royal collections and manufacturers dedicated to the 18th century. Pieces in the Cressent rooms in the Richelieu Wing are from Charles Cressent, who played a key role in the Rococo art period in France.
The renovation process will update the decor, optimize lighting, reorganization of spaces and distance settings for a better visitor experience.
