Position Overview:
The Segment Vice President reports to the Vice President and General Manager of the DP Business Unit and is a member of the DP Executive Team. He/She will be responsible for providing executive leadership and management of the business unit strategic marketing organization and which include: creating and executing of segment strategies, establishing and managing product strategies to meet growth goals, marketing communications and promotions to achieve segment strategies, and partnering with sales to establish customer and consumer needs. The Segment VP will drive the efforts to position ARP DP as an industry leader and establish defensible value propositions in each segment to achieve the growth goals.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage the marketing organization to achieve the DP growth plan and flex various roles based on the changing needs of the business.
Be a role model for the DP culture of growth.
Own the strategic planning process including the Redwood strategic marketing process which includes; segment selection and penetration plans, competitive analysis, and segment related product requirements.
Oversee product marketing including product launch management, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.
Oversee product management including segment and customer/consumer research for market and product requirements, create the agenda for product development/innovation, product pricing and product lifecycle management.
In collaboration with Commercial Finance, develop pricing of products and customer bids including market pricing and win/loss analysis, value selling quantification, NBA and competitive pricing analysis, lifecycle pricing and product profitability analysis.
Work closely with other Segment VPs to develop and manage growth strategies and programs; and create tools and insights to support the sales team.
Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events collateral materials, analyst and market research management, and website design and content either directly or on an outsourced basis.
Participation in the ARP Sales and Marketing Leadership Council which is established to foster best practices sharing, talent reviews and overall growth planning for ARP.
Dotted line responsibility for the R&D and Innovation team that is focused on delivering products and solutions that meet segment and strategic customer needs.
Develop and manage the Diversified Products business unit marketing budget.
Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree In Business or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
10-15 years marketing experience in comparable industries with 5 years in a senior management position.
General management experience required.
Valid driver’s license
