Luxe Pack Monaco Revs Up Program
Special packaging events to focus on innovation and sustainability.
Luxe Pack Monaco prides itself on international exhibitors that showcase innovative packaging solutions for the luxury market, and this year, several new vehicles will highlight their achievements. When Luxe Pack Monaco 2010 takes place October 20-22 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, exhibitors will have a new opportunity to take the stage. In addition to their always creatively designed display spaces on the show floor, this year’s more than 330 exhibitors can choose to present their newly released products by offering attendees 15-20 minute presentations at the new Luxe Pack Innovation Forum. These sessions will take place throughout the three-day event in a specially allocated space.
In addition to innovative packaging in general, many exhibitors have reached new ground in creating sustainable packaging solutions for the luxury market. Luxe Pack Monaco 2010 pays tribute to these exhibitors’ eco-friendly solutions with the launch of the “Luxe Pack in Green” Awards. Building on the success of last year’s introduction of the “Luxe Pack in Green” exhibition space, which unveiled new products or applications that were compliant with environmental standards and were classified according to the material used, this year’s first-time award will be granted to honor the best innovative solution presented by exhibitors. Packaging included in this competition needs to incorporate one or more sustainable development criteria, in accordance with a charter defining these selection criteria. The jury members are sustainable development professionals who work for institutions, luxury brands and media partners.
The jury will award the trophy on Wednesday, October 20, at 5:30pm. The trophy is an original design that has been especially created for the event by Alnoor Design, which will be participating in the Luxe Pack Monaco exhibition.
