HCT Designs Shapely Lipgloss Package

HCT Packaging designed the shiny, space-age looking packaging for the Prodigy lipgloss by Hourglass. The sleek, flat design of the Prodigy allows for the gloss to fit neatly and discretely into a pocket or small bag. Kate Lin, project manager HCT USA West Coast, said, “We wanted something ladies could easily carry in their jeans’ back pocket, which didn't require a wand, rather, an ergonomic dispensing tip. Imagine, in a club, in the dark, it’s much easier to uncap, squeeze and apply the gloss directly than having to aim the wand tip on your lips and risk smearing. Hence, the Surlyn tottle material over the wand.” Hourglass chose this design from HCT’s new stock range of seven slim pocket gloss containers. HCT then customized the design to feature the Hourglass logo, tampo-printed on the tottle with a custom vacuum metallized body color.
