HBA on the Horizon
Get ready for ‘packaging plus’—now in June.
With a new month and dates, June 28-30, at the Javits Center in New York, NY, HBA Global will be offering what it calls “packaging plus” as the largest product development source for the cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, skin care and wellness industries swings into motion.
Whether you work for a major brand manufacturer or are just launching your first beauty or personal care product, at HBA you’ll find the fresh information you need to grow your business or career, source new innovations from leading suppliers, and have ample opportunities to network and build business relationships with more than 16,000 industry peers from the international health and beauty community.
Here are some highlights planned for this year’s event:
• Keynote address by Dan Brestle, chairman of the board of directors, Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) and retired executive of The Estée Lauder Companies. He will provide a tribute to the industry’s diverse founding icons, and look at the similarities between the challenges they faced and overcame, and industry issues and opportunities that exist today, including government regulation and the complexities in global business and digital communications.
• The Trends Zone, featuring makeup artist Eve Pearl, and innovation trends from Mintel, Pantone, The Doneger Group and more.
• New Products Innovation Showcase, featuring the hottest new products from exhibitors.
• International Package Design Awards (IPDA) showcase and awards ceremony, sponsored by Beauty Packaging and Happi magazines. Get an up-close look at the 2011 finalists, and congratulate the winners at the only awards program to celebrate beauty and personal care packaging.
• RSVP Pavilion and VIP Buyers’ Lounge, a by-appointment and invitation-only area for select top suppliers to meet with their best customers in a private area conducive to business and separate from the show floor activity.
• Finished Goods Pavilion—new for 2011.
• Networking Tables and Social Community Meet-ups
• Career Development Day—new for 2011
