A new brand from Thymes, called Beauty of Bathing, honors bathing rituals from around the world. The
premier collection, Coco Monoi, includes bath oil, eau de parfum and body crème, and is inspired by an ancient Polynesian tradition of soaking gardenia flowers in coconut oil. Two-part set-up boxes are printed and wrapped in textural 50% wool paper. A stamped medallion hangs from the hand-tied, obi-inspired knot. Each bottle is decorated with a frosted gradation of color beginning in deep emerald green, transitioning upward to a delicate pink, and overlaid with a modern floral design inspired by Tahitian vegetation. Each bottle is different from the next and all containers are glass, with the exception of the shower gel ($45-$75). More info: www.beautyofbathing.com More info: www.marykay.com

For her entry into the perfume world, Brazilian fashion designer Isabela Capeto wanted something as original as the clothes she’s known for. She partnered with Brazil’s Perfumaria Phebo and Carmita Magalhaes from the French perfume house Mane to create what’s touted as Brazil’s first luxury perfume (30ml bottle; $80). The exclusive bottle, inspired by Capeto’s logo, won the Worldstar worldwide design award for best perfume packaging in 2007. The button-faced red doll pays tribute to Capeto’s constant inspiration in her childhood and the extensive use of embroidery throughout her collections. Even the website is adorable. The fragrance is available at Isabel Capeto
boutiques in Brazil and at Bendel’s in Manhattan. More info: www.isabelacapeto.com.br
