In color cosmetics, color-correcting products — makeup that helps “warm up” and “cool down” — are popular in Japan now.
Bernardin is the founder of the agency, Information et Inspiration. She leads a team of Paris-based consultants that specialize in Asian beauty trends and forecasting. The team focuses on cosmetics, and delivers market reports specifically geared to developing product ranges inspired by Asian trends.
“We travel from France to Asia every 3 weeks with a fresh eye to see what’s on the market,” Bernardin says.
