Tammy Demos, founder of Ousia Organics, was in the skin care business for years when she realized that her skin was suffering and needed a new solution. She essentially started the brand for her own needs, creating what she defines as a new category—Topical Nutrition—literally feeding your skin with healthy ingredients. She honed in on the Earth and traveled the world to research plants for her formulations. When it came to packaging her precious products, at first, she wanted a complete custom design, but due to Covid-19, supply chain and MOQ considerations, she pivoted to a new option.
She worked with award-winning packaging designer Jon Dinapoli to create her vision. The lush-looking packaging captures the spirit of the mountains Demos loves, and the “green sensibility” of the ingredients. A custom watercolor acts as an abstract interpretation of Demos’ intent.
