Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) has announced its 2013 WFFC scholarship award recipients.
Lauren Musumeci is the 2013 recipient of the Rita Flynn Memorial Fragrance Scholarship Award. She is currently completing her master’s in food science at Cornell University. Her current involvement with Expanding Your Horizons focuses on encouraging young women to pursue careers in science, mathematics, engineering and technology.
Kayla Babbush has received the 2013 WFFC Flavor Scholarship Award. Babbush is a freshman at Cornell, studying for a bachelor’s degree in food science, with a focus on safety and contamination to prevent foodborne illnesses.
