The 10th edition of Aerosol & Dispensing Forum and the 12th edition of PCD, Packaging of Perfumes, Cosmetics & Design, was held on February 3-4 at the Espace Champerre in Paris, and organizers say it was a record-breaking success.
The total number of vistors this year totaled 6,500, marking a 20% increase compared to last year. Attendees travelled from more than 70 countries to attend the trade show.
There were 350 packaging suppliers, including companies that manufacture and distribute aerosols, dispensing technologies and more. Manufacturers and distributors met with visitors in the beauty, health, personal care and pharmaceutical industries, to show their latest innovations. Visitors had the opportunity to attend conferences, where speakers included both suppliers and brands.
The 2017 Edition Moves To a New Venue
The show is moving to a different venue next year, so save the dates: The 11th and 13th editions of ADF&PCD will take place on January 18-19, 2017, Hall 6, at Porte de Versailles. The show hours will be extended for next year—doors will close at 7:30 pm.
The First New York Edition is Planned for September
ADF&PCD is crossing the pond later this year, for its first-ever New York edition. It will take place September 13-14, 2016, at the Metropolitan Pavilion and The Altman Building in Manhattan.
Organizers say there are 70 leading suppliers already confirmed to exhibit, and more are expected. The packaging exhibitors at PCD include: ABA Packaging, Albea, Axilone, Cameo Metal, James Alexander Corp., Leo Paper, PolyOne, SGD North America, Shya Hsin Packaging Stoelzle Glass Group.
An Extensive Conference Schedule, Developed with Brand Execs
The show will feature an extensive conference program and a series of seminars, titled “The Luxury Goods Packaging Forum.”
Packaging executives from leading beauty and personal care brands helped develop each of the seminars, from companies that include: Beiersdorf, Coty USA, The Estée Lauder Companies, L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble and KAO.
Conference topics in the PCD program include the latest technological advances and innovations in beauty care, skin care and makeup; a future perspective on fragrance packaging; how packaging is the path to new services; and more.
