When Compax was approached to collaborate with Urban Decay on its newest product in the popular Naked franchise, they set out to design a custom-design “like no other.” This resulted in a stunning case with brilliant rays bursting from beneath the raised lettering on the cover. In order to achieve the dazzling effect, Compax created an exclusive technique—and designed a machine—to allow for the entire palette to be matte sprayed, but only certain details to be polished.
