Heather Brekke has joined Asquan Group, a West Coast manufacturing partner specializing in “helping indie brands develop quick-to-market innovative ideas.” Brekke brings 10 years of color cosmetics contract manufacturing experience, with development proficiency, brand knowledge, and beauty expertise. She entered into the beauty industry with Weckerle Cosmetics, where she learned the complexities of automated and semi-automated filling of all categories of color cosmetics. After four years in project and account management, she held a sales management position where she built relationships with large international retailers, managing global launches with transfers of technologies to global factories. Following this, Brekke joined Intercos Cosmetics where she led their West Coast sales, helping emerging brands with new product concepts, particularly in formulation and filling.
