ICMAD has announced the addition of four new staff members.
Mary S. Ptak is vice president of ICMAD. Ptak received an engineering degree from Purdue University. She spent 15 years working in trade shows, freight forwarding and customs brokerage—and will apply her experience to ICMAD’s International Programs, Technical/Regulatory Committee, and Member Education.
Shaynan Runnels, communications & data coordinator, was born in Trinidad, and by age 7, had lived in seven different countries. She enjoyed a 12-year career in the legal field, working with prestigious clients such as the Dallas Cowboys. In her role at ICMAD, Runnels puts her communication, organizational, and technology skills to work as she serves ICMAD’s members.
Michelle Jones, business development coordinator, is a native of the Philippines, but spent most of her life in Chicago. She attended the University of Chicago Urbana-Champaign where she earned a degree in marketing with an emphasis on consumer marketing and textiles.
Donna Hoye, executive office/ events/trade shows, graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a marketing and public relations degree, and has enjoyed a number of positions with other associations as director of membership and events. She has owned her own successful meeting and conference planning event company for many years.
