Milk Studios, known as the backdrop for cutting-edge fashion, music and film photography, launched its first consumer product line, Milk Makeup, in 2016, and has now announced a minority growth investment with Main Post Partners. This is the first outside capital for the innovative cosmetics brand and it is expected to help propel the brand’s global expansion.
Milk Makeup’s beauty products are designed for brushless, one-handed application “for the girl on the go.” The creatively packaged beauty, skin care and hair care products are available online and through brick-and-mortar retailers including Sephora, Urban Outfitters and Birchbox, and plans are underway to expand internationally into Sephora Canada and quadruple its door count in 2017.
