Franck Marilly has been named president and CEO of Shiseido Group EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). He will be responsible for enhancing EMEA region results, managing all countries and local affiliates, and overseeing all activities within the region related to Group brands and businesses for the Shiseido Group portfolio. He replaces Louis Desazars who announced he would be leaving the post he had held since 2015.
Marilly, who reports to Masahiko Uotani, president and Group CEO, Shiseido Company, Limited, will lead and support global brand holders of Dolce and Gabbana beauty, Fragrance Designer Brands (Alaïa Paris, Elie Saab, Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Zadig and Voltaire) and Serge Lutens to build a solid base for profitable growth in global markets.
Prior to joining Shiseido Group, Marilly, with more than 25 years of beauty and luxury expertise, served as managing director Europe Fragrance Beauty division in Chanel. He has held several leadership roles in Chanel, including senior vice-president Fashion in New York and managing director for France. Previously, he held diverse managing positions within the Unilever Group.
