The Arrow Box is a unique e-commerce box made of Metsä Board’s white kraftliners and developed in partnership with PrintCity. The outside of the box is printed brown with the text in white. The surprise is inside, and not just with the product it holds. It’s the box’s eye-catching design. Cyril Drouet, design & innovation director of Metsä Board, used a colorful artwork piece by Jo di Bona, a well-known French artist, who created the “graffiti pop” style by mixing various influences of pop culture and street art. The other partners in this project were Weilburger Graphics, Flint Group, Göpfert, Panflex and Thimm.
According to Metsä Board, its white kraftliners are ideal for e-commerce solutions due to their strength and excellent printing surface. The combination of strong kraftliners and protective E/E corrugated structure gives a light and durable result. The Arrow Box can be reused for storing and/or sending, it can be recycled and it is compostable.
