After achieving what the brand calls “major success” in Union Square, Korea’s No. 1 beauty brand, Innisfree, opened a second U.S. store in July. This one is at the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Northern New Jersey. Innisfree boasts over 900 SKUs ranging from skincare to hair care to home fragrances.
Innisfree launched in the U.S. in 2017, with its first flagship store in New York City’s Union Square. The brand offers beauty products powered by natural ingredients sourced from Korea’s Jeju Island.
The brand operates with the environment in mind. All secondary packaging cardboard boxes at Innisfree are made of fibers coming from Jeju Island tangerine peels and are printed with soy vegetal ink. The brand also invites customers to bring back the primary plastic components to their stores in exchange for loyalty reward points. They have partnered with Terracyle to repurpose that material.
