A double-sided latex-free “macaron” blending sponge (2.13-inch diameter x 0.65 inch; 54.1 mm x 16.5 mm) from Qosmedix allows users to easily apply and blend makeup. Use the smooth side to apply product and then blend or set using the sponge side.
The TPU film helps create a barrier between the sponge and the makeup so that excess product is not absorbed into the sponge. It can be used wet or dry.
To clean, wet the sponge in cold or lukewarm water. Apply a small amount of facial cleanser, antibacterial liquid soap or sponge cleanser to the stained areas. Gently work into a lather without twisting or stretching the sponge. Rinse and repeat if necessary. Squeeze to remove excess water. Set aside on a piece of paper towel to dry. The sponges are available in a variety of colors and priced at $1.50 each.
