MakeUp in LosAngeles and Luxe Pack Los Angeles will once again run side-by-side—jointly featuring more than 180 exhibitors this year on February 27 - 28 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
Luxe Pack Los Angeles is returning for its 2nd edition in the Golden State, while MakeUp in LosAngeles is marking its fourth year on the West Coast. Both shows will run from 9 am - 5 pm.
The show floor will feature a new digital display this year, the Launch Pad. It will include many of the retail launches that hit shelves this year, and will showcase the work of many of the exhibiting companies and the products they helped bring to market.
In addition, MakeUp In’s Innovation Tree will once again greet visitors at the show entrance, featuring the latest beauty market trends, selected by an expert industry panel.

MakeUp in LosAngeles will feature 110 exhibitors, including full-service companies, sampling manufacturers, formulators, designers, packaging, and accessory suppliers.

Highlights from Luxe Pack Los Angeles
Luxe Pack Los Angeles, a show dedicated to packaging creativity, design, technical innovation, and trends in the luxury sector, will welcome 85 packaging specialists.
Exhibitors include experts in glass, sustainable packaging, raw materials, influencer packaging, displays, promotional items, e-commerce packaging and stock packaging. A few of the companies are Anomatic, Cameo Metal, Diamond Wipes, Heinz Glas, Identipak, Neenah, The Penthouse Group and Yonwoo/PKG.
A Joint Conference Program
New for 2019, both shows will collaborate on the conference program. Highlights include representatives from Chanel, Algenist, Kora Organics, The Detox Market, Stylus and Croda.
Reps will speak about a variety of topics, including creative design trends for Autumn/Winter 2021, inclusive beauty, makeup innovations, skincare innovations, and experience-driven packaging.
One not-to-miss conference is “The Clean and Green Movement,” on Thursday, February 28, at 10:15 am - 12 noon in the conference room. Speakers will discuss a Harris Poll/Allure survey that found 59% of women over the age of 35 believe buying “green” is important, while 75% of Millennial women are seeking out cleaner, all-natural products.
Experts will discuss why the “Clean Beauty Movement” is on the rise, how it is influenced by the ‘Wellness Movement,’ and how it will impact the future of beauty in both skincare and makeup.
