On Tuesday, December 4th at Bond 45 in NYC, the final CIBS luncheon of 2018 took place with a packed house. CIBS 2018 president Benny Calderone, along with scholarship co-chairs Annette Saenger and Ukachi Anonyuo, presented a $2,500 scholarship to FIT student Jacqueline Goodspeed.
The scholarship was given in memory of long-time and beloved CIBS member and industry professional Jim Slowey, who passed away earlier in the year. Baralan vice president Luisa Kamelhar was on hand to represent Baralan.
CIBS also inducted a record-breaking 61 new members to the association. Everyone enjoyed a great afternoon networking with industry professionals and executives.
