Aether Beauty’s 12-color Radiant Ruby Lip Crème line ($28 each) available at Clean at Sephora, claims to mark the prestige beauty industry’s first fully recycled lip component.
According to the brand, “the packaging is made with 100% recycled plastic, no virgin plastic used whatsoever, which saves 25% of carbon emissions. It is 100% PET plastic recycle #1, the easiest plastic to recycle.” You just have to cut off the applicator tip before recycling. The secondary box is made with FSC certified paper and printed with water-based soy inks. A zero-waste color palette is set to follow.
