Lumson, known for development, production and decoration of primary packaging for the cosmetic and makeup market, has developed Lipstick PLA 2.0, which they describe as “an innovative, 100% sustainable and technological lipstick.” Lipstick PLA 2.0 is a bio-based material that is “extremely high-performing and innovative” and developed specifically for Lumson.
Romualdo Priore, marketing director at Lumson, says the version of PLA developed for Lumson offers advantages to PLA already on the market, such as resistance to high temperatures without deforming, better resistance to scratches and wear and tear, and a mechanism that doesn’t require any lubrification.
