TricorBraun has acquired SGB Packaging Group, Inc., based in Hackensack, NJ. The move strengthens TricorBraun’s presence in the cosmetics industry and further expands its global supplier network.
SGB Packaging, managed by founder and president Shoshana Gibli, and senior leaders Lauren Gibli and Julie Gibli, will remain with TricorBraun. SGB has served the industry for 25 years, as a full-service packaging provider, specializing in prestige and masstige segments, and serving the cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, personal care makeup and hair care industries.
SGB Packaging also expands TricorBraun’s global supplier network with European and other international supplier partnerships focused on prestige categories where SGB is the sole NA representative.
SGB Packaging will operate as SGB Packaging, a TricorBraun company. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
