September is National Ovarian Cancer Month, and Laura Mercier is helping to raise awareness - and money - by launching new products that will benefit the Ovarian Cancer Fund.
The new products, which are shown above, are: Lip Glace in Peach Hope; Bonne Mine Healthy Glow for Face & Cheeks palette; the Laura Mercier Ovarian Cancer Fund (LMOCF) Bracelet of Hope; and a teal clutch by Jenny Packham, an exclusive design for LMOCF.
Claudia Poccia, president / CEO, Gurwitch Products and LMOCF co-founder, commented:
"LMOCF works year-round to raise funds to bring an end to this terrible disease. We are proud to support the groundbreaking research underway at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, our key partner, and encourage others to join the cause."
LMOCF has donated $300,000 to key partner Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to help support cutting-edge research being conducted by Dr. Carol Aghajanian, Chief of Gynecological Medical Oncology.
In addition to benefitting the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, LMOCF beneficiaries include: Cancer and Careers; The Laura Lia Murray Ovarian Cancer Fund, to support key programs at memorial Cancer Institute, Ovarian Cancer Canada, Ovarian Cancer Action in the UK and Fonds pour les soins pallatifs in France.
