L'Oreal's Redken has won a packaging innovation award for its Blonde Idol Custom Tone Daily, a product in a dual chamber package by VariBlend. The product took home the award in the Hair & Hygiene category. PCD (Packaging Perfumes, Cosmetics & design) Congress presented the award to the brand. Winners were chosen by a panel of industry experts.

The package can be set to dispense the product in six different positions. The design is ideal for “regimen-based” product categories that deliver a different multi-element formula over time. In addition to hair care, the package can be utilized for skin care, sunless tanning, and more.
