In case you missed it - there were lots of experts taking part in the conferences at the Luxe Pack New York show this year.
There was standing-room-only at the seminar organized and moderated by Marc Rosen, renowned package deisgner and president of Marc Rosen Associates (and also a member of Beauty Packaging's advisory board). The topic was all things luxe, and called "Uber Masstige."
Why? “In today’s retail marketplace at any level of distribution, the consumer expects ‘Premium’ at any price,” Rosen said.
Several luxury trends were revealed, including "glamping."
The panelists were: Jim Berkrot, Bentley Laboratories; James Gager, MAC Cosmetics and Jo Malone Worldwide; Veronique Gabai-Pinsky, Estee Lauder Companies and creative director, Veronique Gabai Inc.; and Theo Spilka, Firmenich.
