IT Cosmetics, which was recently purchased by L’Oreal for more than a billion dollars, and then recognized as a QVC “winner,” continues to gain accolades.
Goldman Sachs has now recognized IT Cosmetics’ co-founders Jamie Kern Lima and Paulo Lima as two of the “100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2016” at its Builders + Innovators Summit in Santa Barbara, California.
Goldman Sachs selected the Limas from 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event for their “leadership, commitment to customers and excellence, and their vision of recognizing the marketplace was void of skin-loving, problem-solving beauty products that truly work and help women look and feel their most beautiful.” Further, the co-founders partnered with plastic surgeons and dermatologists, to formulate makeup in a new and innovative way to launch IT Cosmetics.
