Sam and Nic Chapman were named YouTubers of the Year at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2017. The makeup artist sisters founded the YouTube channel Pixiwoo and also co-design the beauty brand known for its affordable, high-quality makeup brushes and applicators, Real Techniques.
The awards gala, hosted by Glamour magazine, was held at the UK's Berkeley Square Gardens in London on June 6th. Each year, the awards recognize extraordinary and inspirational women from a variety of fields ranging from entertainment to education to sports and business.
The Chapmans are the second recipients of the YouTubers of the Year honor, which was established as an official award category in 2016. "It's a real honor to be recognized by Glamour alongside so many other inspiring women," said Sam Chapman. "YouTube has really come a long way since we started nine years ago, and we are just so excited to be able to use this platform along with Real Techniques to continue to engage with and inspire our tremendous community of beauty lovers."
