CoverGirl has announced that Maye Musk has joined its family. At 69 years old, Musk recently made an appearance on the runways during New York Fashion Week. She is often described as a “symbol of timeless beauty and wellness.”

Musk began her modeling career when she was 15 years old, living in South Africa. She signed with IMG at age 68. Musk has also worked as a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, and wrote the book, "Feel Fantastic," which focuses on wellness and beauty tips she learned in the fashion industry.

Musk comments, "With wearing makeup a part of my job as a model, one might think I'd get tired of it, but I absolutely love it. I've had the benefit of working with a lot of wonderful artists through the years, and it's a fascinating process: you start as a blank canvas and then a transformation occurs — but there's always a very real and honest piece of me there, too. I think that's one thing that's kept me working in this industry for so long, my interest in self-representation.”
