Parlux is introducing Tempting Paradise by Sofia Vergara. The fragrance will debut at retailers nationwide in March.
The latest addition to Vergara's scent portfolio evokes "the lush sensuality of an island paradise, with delectable fruit and floral notes native to Vergara's vibrant Colombian homeland.," the company says.
Vergara comments, "My idea of paradise is relaxing on a tropical island, surrounded by the familiar scent of exotic flowers and fruits. I created Tempting Paradise to allow a woman to escape to her own tropical mini-vacation."
A Fresh-Fruity-Floral
Constructed by International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) senior perfumer, Laurent Le Guernec, the fresh-fruity-floral fragrance opens with juicy Lulo Fruit, which sparkles amid tantalizing Clementine and sultry Magnolia blossom. Guava Flower captivates the heart, intertwined with fresh Coconut Water. A rich base of caramelized Musk and irresistible creamy Sandalwood create a seductive finish.
"While in Colombia, I was intrigued by Sofia's favorite fruit, the Lulo Fruit; a complex fruit that was juicy, sweet and sparkling – I would crave it! The sensual aspect of the Colombian women was also impossible to ignore when envisioning the fragrance. Mixed with the colorful and vibrant culture that is addictive, I knew the Lulo Fruit would be the perfect note to capture it," said Le Guernec.
The Hourglass-Shaped Flacon
The hourglass-shaped flacon "reflects a distinct feminine form," the brand states, and is "a striking interpretation of Vergara's curves, exuding both femininity and sensuality."
The bottle's facets are inspired by Vergara's love of the Emerald, found in her native Colombia and incorporated throughout her fragrance collection.
The exterior packaging features a playful, vibrant tropical print, to "immediately command attention," the brand says.
The collection includes Eau de Parfum in 3.4 fl. oz. and 1 fl. oz. sizes, and an 8 oz. Fragrance Mist.
Tempting Paradise by Sofia Vergara launches at Perfumania, Perfumania.com and other retailers nationwide March 2018.
