Today -- March 21st -- is officially Fragrance Day according to The Fragrance Foundation.
The organization hopes the holiday will help boost sales and get more consumers talking about fragrance.
Linda G. Levy, president of The Fragrance Foundation, is also focusing on spreading more fragrance news, from brands to consumers, through its social media channels and website. Retailers, including Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ulta, Bloomingdale's and Sephora are helping to promote the holiday on its social media channels as well.
A Colorful Mural To Represent the Art of Fragrance
To draw attention to The Fragrance Foundation commissioned street artist Marco Santini to connect art with the "art of fragrance."
Santini's colorful mural is located at 610 Johnson Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. It captures the stories and words that describe fragrance. See all the 'hidden words' in it here on The Fragrance Foundation's Facebook page.
More To Come
The Fragrance Foundation plans to partner with brands to implement several exciting fragrance events this year -- stay tuned.
