LipSmacker, a part of Markwins' Beauty Brands, is asking fans to submit their dream lip balm flavor for a chance to become the Official 2018 Tastemaker.
LipSmacker has plans to create a one-of-a-kind, customized "blinged-out" lip balm package for the winner, in the winning flavor. The crystal-encrusted lip balm will be a super-size "Biggy" -- four times the size of a regular balm.
The winning flavor will also be produced in a limited edition run and sold for a limited time on LipSmacker's website. The winner will also receive a personal batch.
Last year's winning flavor, Unicorn Froyo, is shown above - and it sold out on the brand's website within days.
Last year's Tastemaker Search was a successful campaign for the brand, resulting in a tremendous spike in engagement from social media fans.
Details About the Tastemaker Search Contest
Flavor suggestions will be accepted here on the brand's website through May 9th, 2018. The contest is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec).
Entries must include flavor name, three key ingredients, descriptors and flavor inspiration — all of which will help the brand's in-house tastemakers bring the flavor to life.
LipSmacker will choose five flavor finalists, and the public will vote from May 24th-30th. The Official 2018 Tastemaker and winning flavor will be announced on June 13th.
