DISC, known for its creative packaging solutions for nearly 50 years, has announced the addition of a new Bobst 106-PER ExpertCut die cutter as part of its continued investment in the company’s folding carton business. Expected to be operational in early December, the new die cutter runs at significantly higher speeds than previous models and is equipped with the advanced Power Registration option that optically registers sheets at machine speeds for improved productivity and quality.
“Our new Bobst 106 PER continues our strategy of investing in equipment that increases our capacity and has enhanced in-line quality detection systems to meet the stringent quality requirements of our core pharmaceutical, health & beauty, and food markets,” said Don Sinkin, president and CEO for DISC.
This machine is also configured with in-line blanking to deliver cartons ready for folding and gluing and avoid secondary operations for improved productivity.
