Verve Medical Cosmetics is celebrating 20 years.
Founded by Dr. Stephen Bracci, Verve Medical is a non-surgical aesthetic and anti-aging treatment studio in New York City.
Verve Medical is known for non-surgical facial restoration treatments including the BaseLift and EYERISE. These use cosmetic fillers to re-support the architecture of the face and restore a more youthful, rested appearance -- without a 'plastic' look.
To mark a milestone year, Dr. Bracci is offering insights into the changing perceptions of beauty, and what's ahead in 2020.
"Beauty has gone beyond superficial adornments such as makeup, hairstyles and jewelry, to a more simplistic approach," Bracci says. "Beauty today is successful aging – looking well rested, fit and natural." Dr. Bracci believes that cosmetic injectables will continue to be a large part of aging well, but lifestyle has never been more important. He says, "Beauty in 2020 is not what we wear; it's about what we do. Choices such as nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, sleep and minimizing toxins, such as tobacco and alcohol are all integral to aging well. If we live well and treat our bodies well, then we can age successfully. Beautiful aging is now an option."
