Beautigloo is set to launch a newly designed version of a Beauty Fridge -- and it will begin shipping in March 2020.
The company says it is the first one to contain compartments perfectly-sized for beauty products. Ideal for storing creams, masks, nail varnishes, fragrances, and natural cosmetics, it has a sleek, low profile design, for the bedroom or bathroom.
One of the first companies in line with the trend was FaceTory, with its coral pink mini fridge that launched last year. (Many companies have claimed to be the 'first' - but as this list from Refinery29 shows, there are lots of options.)
There are a few details, however, that make Beautigloo's Refrigerated Beauty Box different.
The company says it offers the "proper environment for cosmetics." A built-in thermostat ensures an optimal temperature of 10°C -- "optimizing their freshness and performance."
It also features a ventilated cold-air system to limit the presence of moisture. Plus, it has a patented system that ensures it runs completely silent.
Florian Ménard, co-founder and chief technical officer, says, "In addition to its low-power consumption, the Refrigerated Beauty Box is 98% recyclable and contains absolutely no polluting refrigerant fluids."
Beautigloo was co-founded by Ménard along with entrepreneur Clara Lizier. The company was a part of Sephora Europe's acceleration program for start-ups.
Beautigloo is currently taking pre-orders for the Refrigerated Beauty Box, to ship next March.
