NYX Cosmetics celebrates Pride Month with a new collection inspired by the LGBTQIA+ Ballroom scene—and the #NYXCosmeticsBall makeup challenge.
What's "Ballroom"? Madonna's Vogue video in 1990 was inspired by the underground dance scene in nightclubs involving "voguing" dance competitions, and now there's a television series about it—Legendary on HBO Max.
NYX Cosmetics says it will continue to support the LGBTQ+ community beyond its month-long campaign. The brand says it "is building a global network of Proud Allies, so everyone can be supported as they deserve to be."
As a 'Proud Ally for All,' NYX Professional Makeup will be donating over $100,000 to global Pride efforts, including a donation to the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
The NYX Cosmetics Ballroom Collection features:
- Metal Play Pigment Palette—a "one-swipe ultra-reflective formula made for the camera." The pigment contains light-catching pearls—see swatches on IG.
- Epic Wear Liner Sticks—matte and metallic eyeliner pencils formulated to deliver 36 hours of waterproof, smudgeproof color.
- Born to Glow Highlighter Duo
