Overnight Labels LLC has been awarded with a Best of Category Premier Print Award for Shrink Sleeves.
The prestigious international competition honors excellence in print across 71 different categories, including packaging. The winning entry is for a copper label featuring a pink and orange gradient with turquoise accents and a raised gold pattern that mimics an arabesque-shaped Moroccan tile.
To achieve the multi-faceted look, Overnight Labels ran the 9-color job on 2 presses. To add dimension and a tactile effect, a silk screen UV was applied, which increased the complexity of the printing process.
Known for their expertise in both specialty finishes and shrink sleeves, Overnight Labels has won numerous industry awards.
Don Earl, president of Overnight Labels said, "We always strive to maintain a level of excellence for everything that we print, especially when a job calls for intricate details. We are honored that the judges recognized us for our craftsmanship.”
“This year’s Premier Print Awards judges had a difficult time in narrowing the awards to 64 winners amongst all of the impressive submissions,” commented Joe Marin, senior VP, education and training, Printing United Alliance. “Each piece was innovative and of the highest quality.”
