Actress, model and outspoken anti-vaxxer Jenny McCarthy has launched a vegan cosmetics brand—Formless Beauty.
The product line is eco-friendly, cruelty-free and made with ingredients that are easy to understand, says the brand. The brand is also made in the U.S.
"Ingredients you can pronounce!" McCarthy told People. "It's lip gloss, you know, it’s on your mouth. You're ingesting it."
For its first drop, Formless Beauty has unveiled three lip gloss colors — all different shades of pink. Each color is named with a specific intention: Manifest, Dream and Love — and made with elements such as shea butter and grapefruit seed.
While Formless Beauty is starting off with lip gloss, McCarthy is already product planning for the future.
"I've learned so much through this process. I now know how much science is still evolving, and we're still discovering what happens when certain things enter our system — that's something I'm keeping in mind as I expand the product line," she told People. "My mission is to crack the code and have cosmetics be not only amazing and beautiful, but healthy. I want you to choose my brand because yes it looks great, but it's good for you."
