Former MAC executive, cosmetic innovator, makeup artist and “visionary” Nick Gavrelis has launched a new beauty and lifestyle brand called ieró. (E-air-OH) means “Sacred” in Ancient Greek, and the brand says the name “is an homage to the extraordinary, authentic radiance we all possess.” The first collection is called Moonkissed.
ieró is grounded in five core beliefs: inclusivity, mindfulness, authenticity, community and sustainability and giving.
The brand says “the holistic, multi-sensorial products and experiences nourish your whole self—not just your skin, by leaning into chromotherapy, aromatherapy and mindfulness cues to reveal and free the skin, nurture and protect what is sacred and spotlight the powerful ingredients provided by Mother Nature.”
Gavrelis says through working with the most respected raw ingredient companies, innovative chemists and finest cosmetic manufacturers, “we create best-in-class, clean, high-naturality
formulas containing sustainable, efficacious ingredients and actives inspired by ancestral Mediterranean culture.”
Vegan, cruelty-free formulas utilize plant-based actives and crystal-derived minerals and provide “absolute transparency about their percent of naturality.”
Products in the Moonkissed Collection include Luminous Ph Lip Comforter in 5 colors, Radiant Skin Restorative Serum-Oil, Serene Essence Replenishing Mist, and Radiant Moisture Restorative Emulsion.
