‘Nubia,’ the first Black female Super Hero in DC’s comics, was recently reintroduced to fans with her very own comic book series—and Fenty Beauty’s Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation shade range became the language the writers used to talk about the diverse cast of characters in Nubia’s comics.
The artists were inspired to use the Pro Filt’r shade range as a guide in their storytelling, and bring to life the nuances of the skin tones to be authentic, rich and dynamic on paper.
With this revelation, Fenty Beauty is now celebrating the release of ‘Nubia & The Amazons’ and aims to provide a representative color palette that other colorists and illustrators can use as a guide when creating characters of color so that they are realistic and multidimensionally beautiful.
In honor of the launch of this comic books series, Fenty Beauty will also be giving away Pro Filt’r Complexion Gifts and ‘Nubia’ comic books, via Fenty Beauty’s Instagram.
