NYX Professional Makeup announced its first-ever Big Game commercial with Grammy-award winning artist Cardi B. This marks Cardi B’s first beauty partnership.
The commercial will feature the brands Duck Plump High Pigment Plumping Lip Gloss in a 30-second ad during the second half of the Super Bowl VLIII. An extended cut will also be featured on NYX’s social channels after the Big Game.
NYX’s commercial aims to reverse male stereotypes with a humorous look at the extreme plumping sensation of the brands lip gloss.
Cardi B commented, “NYX is a brand that I’ve used since high school and that’s why it’s so special to partner with them for this campaign. NYX has always made the best, affordable products, and that’s why I still use them today. We had a lot of fun making this over-the-top, hilarious commercial and I can’t wait for everyone to see.”
NYX also launched an exclusive Duck Plump shade ‘Chery Spice’ supporting the campaign. Carti B wears ‘Cherry Spice’ in the commercial.
