Zorbit Resources Creates ‘Slide & Snap’ Packaging for Jouer
Almost five years after Zorbit’s original design for the launch of Jouer Cosmetics, Jouer founder
ChristinaZilber returned to the company for a new look. Jouer had categorized its line into segments (eye, face, cheeks, bronzer, etc.), which could be identified on the front of the compact. Zorbit developed this feature into a custom pallet assembled from individual components, using a unique “slide & snap” system. The block form fit perfectly with the company’s personality as jouer means “to play” in French. Compacts were custom injection molded in a chocolate brown ABS with a one-pass hot stamp and protective UV coating. The striking packaging premiered in the windows of Henri Bendel’s in New York City.
