Airspray Fingertip Foamer is just right for certain cosmetic/personal care products that must be dispensed evenly. Neutrogena chose the Fingertip Foamer as the dispensing system for its Neutrogena Sunless Tanner Foam, which is said to provide a “natural looking tan that is non-streaking and fast drying.”
The introduction is the fourth product line within Neutrogena’s product offering using instant-foamers; others are Hair Color Defending Foam and Oil Free Acne Wash for a total of 6 SKU’s.

Augros serves the HBA market withinjection molded plastic components. Cebal recommends its Angled Applicator, 3/4", Round for any direct-application products, such as lip moisturizers, glosses or treatments and eye applications. This tube delivers an angled head design with the convenience and has the appeal of an all-plastic tube.

EMSAR offers four treatment pumps, with unique benefits to address specific cosmetic packaging needs. For the color cosmetic market, Rexam has developed new airtight compacts, a new pump for foundations as well as new airless packaging for foundations. A catalog for a new stock collection of cosmetic packaging is available on a CD Rom.
Rexam Reboul recently unveiled a new metallization process called Metareflect which gives a semi-transparent, semi-metallized finish. The finish seems to change as the angle of view moves.
Rexam has developed DK 1094, a stock item which is a stackable multi-lipstick. It has also created Teen Fun, a stock line ofpackaging line targeting teens and tweens that is “playful and light-hearted.”

Techpack launched Urban, a new line of tottles that includes several sizes and are available in PP, PE. CoEx. The two-piece cap is designed to house an ophthalmic plug, consists of an outer in ABS and inner in PP.
The Eclipse line is a stock collection including four compacts made by Laffon, and a mascara and lipstick made respectively by Benson and ICM. The line can be customized through choice of colors, decorations and finishes.

CMI is launching the Cracked finish, an original finish that allows unique and bold “cracking” effects in any color.
Created through a special spraying process, the cracks can be wide, thin, tightened or spaced out. The company recommends the finish for packaging of powders, lip balms, skin-care or bronzing formulations. A new Shimmer finish has also been developed for the color cosmetic market. It is created via the spraying of a special colorant and covered with a clear UV top-coat. A new pearl pigment produces colorful reflections and offers color changes when exposed under light. Available in gold, violet, blue and green, the colorants can be sprayed on any clear, clear tinted or opaque plastic component, giving different color intensity.

New for spring 2002, Toly introduces Bourjois, a custom pressed powder compact. Bourjois features five separate moldings with three ultrasonic welding processes, four tampo prints and a gold hot foil decoration on the button. A pinned hinge and a specially shaped mirror are produced at Toly's manufacturing facility in Malta.
For Orlane Be21, Toly created the fragrance cap molded in transparent nylon for high clarity and product compatibility. For Chanel, the company supplied Lumieres Polychrome, a UV lacquered compact with distinctive Chanel decoration hot stamping into logo recess.

Topline has enhanced the traditional window pot for the cosmetics industry with the LuxePot. The company changed the threaded cap to a hinged topcover and bottom cover and uses the hollow in the beneath the product for a mirror, brush or foam applicator. LuxePot is available in three popular sizes: 1.5” x .75”; 2” x .75” and 2 5/8” x .75”.
The company has developed Sprinkles to solve packaging problems with cosmetic glitter. Sprinkles is a container with the glitter in the package cap complete with a sifter flip-top so that consumers can control the amount of glitter.
For lipstick samples, Topline has developed True-tester, a bullet shaped based that can be dipped and coated with enough actual lipstick formula for two to four applications.

Valois offers many airless systems for packaging and dispensing of cosmetic and personal care formulas that best protected from exposure to air. The Orion is a bottle-within-a bottle package. The inner container is made of flexible polyethylene that collapses as the product is dispensed.
