With more than 20 years of experience in developing innovative packaging in the cosmetics world, NF Beauty Group has now become an expert in offering formulations that match the packaging—as well as the additional valued service of Turnkey production, making one-stop shopping effective and simple for brands. Here, Andrea Greff, design manager at NF Beauty Group, speaks with Beauty Packaging’s Jamie Matusow about some of their latest products that tick the boxes for innovative, functional—and desirable.
Jamie Matusow: I know NF Beauty Group has been around for quite a while. Can you tell us how the company has recently evolved?
Andrea Greff: NF Beauty Group has almost 20 years of experience developing innovative packaging and helping brands bring their packaging to reality. In addition, this year we have focused our efforts on developing our Turnkey and formulation department as well—bringing a whole new and enhanced scope to our service offerings.
JM: What is your specialty?
AG: Our specialty in the beauty space is packaging for skincare, haircare, and body care, as well as some packaging for color cosmetics.
JM: What makes you stand out from other suppliers?
AG: Our innovative functional packaging. Because we have an R&D team as well as a design department, we have the ability to respond to customer needs by developing products and adding to our collection of stock items.
JM: What factors led you to expand your services/offerings?
AG: Since the beginning of the pandemic (i.e, 2020), we have developed a more focused sense of our offerings. With our rebrand to NF Beauty Group, we have been able to dedicate our services to more specific markets including the U.S. and European markets for skincare and cosmetics. In 2022, we have also expanded our turnkey and full-service offerings, making strong partnerships with labs around the world—and offering our customers more options to work with us to fulfill their brand’s needs.
JM: Is demand for full service/turnkey on the rise?
AG: Yes! Our newly formed Turnkey department has been diligently working to create strong partnerships with labs and develop new options for new and existing customers.
JM: Any product/collection you are most proud of?
AG: To speak a little more about our Turnkey department and formulation products, some really great collections include our Exclusive Technology products which feature Ceramide ingredients, in various formats from toner to serum, to creams. Another collection is our Trending Gen Z Picks, which focuses on acne-fighting serums and mists with ingredients featuring AHA, BHA, PHA and LHA.
JM: What’s next for NF Beauty Group?
AG: NFBG will continue to present at various tradeshows including Cosmoprof Asia in Singapore and again at PCD in Paris in January. Each of these events lets us showcase our products on a global stage and hopefully apply ourselves to some competitions with our innovative packaging as well.
