Javier Polit is the new chief information officer at Procter & Gamble Co., and will oversee all aspects of information technology for the global manufacturer. He succeeds Linda Clement-Holmes, who is retiring as CIO after 35 years at P&G.
Previously, Polit served as the group chief information officer for Coca-Cola’s Bottling Investments Group and the Coca-Cola North America division of the Atlanta-based company, responsible for the soft drink maker’s IT strategy across more than 35 countries. He supported a $40 billion business with more than 110,000 employees.
