HCP Packaging Group has begun construction on the planned initial phase of a manufacturing expansion project at its Rusi site in Bechhofen, in the district of Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany.
Klaus Sindel, whose family founded the company in 1976, opened the proceedings by welcoming the visitors and thanking the Rusi team for their commitment to an ongoing legacy of excellent customer service.
The expansion program involves the addition of two new production buildings on the existing Rusi site, installation of new equipment for injection molding, and decoration of cosmetics packaging, which will increase the existing annual manufacturing capacity by over 60%.
The facility is expected to be fully operational by October 2018.
