Debra Perelman was appointed as Revlon’s first female president chief executive officer. She initially replaced Fabian Garcia who stepped down early in 2018 after two years in the position. Ronald Perelman, Revlon’s chairman—and the new CEO’s father—reportedly made the move in line with “changing consumer preferences.”
With 20 years at Revlon, Debra Perelman was most recently chief operating officer at the company, a role in which she worked to build the company’s digital presence. She was also most recently the executive vice president of MacAndrews & Forbes, the holding company through which her father owns an 85% stake in Revlon.
