The Seaweed Bath Co.’s Purifying Detox Body Washes ($14.99 each) combine nutrient-rich, organic, sustainably-harvested bladderwrack seaweed (which contains more than 65 vitamins and minerals), green coffee bean extract and French clay to detoxify and cleanse for softer, smoother-looking skin. The Hydrating Soothing Body Creams ($12.99 each) contain the same seaweed, harvested off the coast of Maine.
All Seaweed Bath bottles are 100% post-recycled plastic. Both bottles and tubes are recyclable plastic. Allison Grossman, creative lead for the brand, tells Beauty Packaging: “We worked with Make & Matter to rebrand our hydrating bath, body and hair care products in 2014 to a create a nostalgic ocean/beach design for our packaging, which we have evolved in-house. Recently, we saw an opportunity to expand our body care line to a detox-specific line to focus not only seaweed, but also other powerful ingredients, like charcoal, coffee and clay. We worked on the design of our expanded detox body care line with the black and gold packaging in-house for a more sleek, elevated look.”
